I am a transdisciplinary researcher, community organizer, and educator invested in healthy agroecological systems and the communities who cultivate and eat from them.
My work is committed to community-driven questions, processes, and outcomes around resilient and justice-oriented environmental change. I have worked with farmers, food systems, and conservation practitioners for over fifteen years in Latin America, Southern Africa, and the U.S.
I completed a joint PhD in Geography and Environment & Resources and an MS in Agroecology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, as well as a BA in Geography and International Studies from the University of Iowa.
